A 2011 Best Practices Award for Achievement was awarded to Nacogdoches County for its Bond Forfeiture Program. County Attorney John Fleming's staff-developed bond forfeiture program made history as the first time a County Attorney's office has been recognized for a Best Practices Award. Fleming credits Assistant County Attorney Keith Bradford, his office staff, the Sheriff's office, the County Clerk's office, and the County Court-At-Law office as well for the program's success.
