Voting Precincts and Maps

Below you will find a List of Established Voting Precincts and Polling Places for Nacogdoches County and maps of these precincts. Your voter registration certificate reflects which voting precinct you live in and you can use the list below to determine your polling place. For Nacogdoches County Primary and General Elections, all polling places listed are normally open. Voting precincts are numbered according to which County Commissioner Precinct they fall in. For example, voting precincts that start with the number “3” are voting precincts within County Commissioner Precinct 3. If your voting precinct is 32, 33, or 34, then you live in County Commissioner Precinct 3. If your voting precinct is 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, or 47, then you live in County Commissioner Precinct 4. The reasons there are multiple voting precincts within a Commissioner Precinct are that only a certain number of voters may be assigned to each polling place, and distances voters have to travel to go to polling places are also considered. Please see notes at the bottom of this page for Primary Runoff, City, and School Elections.

*Note – Please be aware that for some elections such as Primary Runoffs where low turnout is often expected, the total number of polling places may be reduced and some voting precincts may be temporarily assigned to different polling places. Always check the Current Election Information section of this website to determine where your voting precinct has been assigned.

*Note – Please be aware that city and school elections sometimes use the same polling places established by Nacogdoches County for their elections, but this is not always the case. For example, the established Nacogdoches County voting precinct for the Cushing area is Precinct 12, and the polling place voters would go to for Primary and General Elections in the Cushing area is the Beck Building. Cushing I.S.D. normally holds their elections at the Cushing High School though, so voters would need to go to the Cushing High School for Cushing I.S.D. elections. Currently the City of Nacogdoches and Nacogdoches I.S.D. hold both Early Voting and Election Day Voting for their elections in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex Building. If you are interested in voting in an upcoming city or school election, always check the Current Election Information section of this website to determine where your polling place will be.
